Project Overview

To mark its 90th anniversary, Hobson Engineering partnered with WildAcre Studio to create a documentary-style brand story video celebrating the company’s history, culture and people.

Featuring interviews with company leaders, long-serving employees and newer team members, the film explored the values, relationships and shared sense of purpose that have shaped Hobson across generations.


The challenge

For nearly 90 years, Hobson Engineering had built a reputation based on strong relationships, trusted service and a people-first culture. While these values were deeply understood within the business, much of that story had never been formally captured.

The challenge was to distil nine decades of history into a single film that could celebrate the past, recognise the people behind the business and inspire the next generation of employees.


The solution

WildAcre Studio produced a 10-minute documentary-style brand story video built around interviews with approximately ten team members across the business.

The story combined personal reflections, leadership perspectives, archive imagery and historical footage to create a narrative that honoured Hobson’s legacy while looking towards the future.

Through the voices of the people who helped shape the business, the film brought “The Hobson Way” to life.
